In 1984, Greg opened the Dallas office of Shelby, Rucksdashel and
Jones as partner-in-charge. He continued as an audit and consulting
partner and partner-in-charge of the Dallas office until 1989. Greg left
the firm in 1989 to set up his own practice. In 1990, he became the
shareholder in charge of audit, consulting, and financial reporting
engagements for the firm of Chapman, Hext & Co., P.C.
Greg has had extensive experience in the financial reporting,
consulting, and litigation support areas of a public accounting
practice. He has assisted a variety of corporate and individual clients
regarding issues related to start-up companies, sale of companies,
financial reporting issues, bank and equity financing, relationships,
and a variety of other issues faced by individual and corporate
entities. His litigation support experience includes both criminal and
civil cases.

Nancy Schulze, President

From 1982 to 1984, she was with Main Hurdman in Midland, Texas,
specializing in the oil and gas industry and in trust/estate accounting
and taxation. From 1984 to 1992, Nancy worked for a local certified
public accounting firm in Dallas as a tax manager. In February 1992,
Nancy joined Chapman, Hext & Co., P.C. as tax manager. Currently,
Nancy is the shareholder in charge of tax engagements with Chapman, Hext
& Co., P.C.
Nancy's emphasis is in tax planning consultations as well as the
oversight for corporate and individual income tax preparation for
federal and state. She also assists clients in determining the proper
structure for merger and acquisitions and choice of entity at startup.
She has responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Firm and
technical aspects of the practice.
Nancy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
She is also a member of the Beta Alpha Psi National Honors Accounting
Fraternity at the University of Texas.
Nancy has served on the Board of Youth and Board of Education at
Messiah Lutheran Church in Richardson for various periods of time since
1994. Nancy has also served on the Board for the Richardson
Children’s Theatre since 1998. Nancy is also actively involved in a wide
variety of community activities

Sarah J. Hancock, Director of Tax Services

Sarah began her accounting career in the hotel industry and then went
into public accounting in 1989. She has had a strong tax emphasis
since 1997. Sarah also worked in the real estate industry from
2005 to 2006 before returning to public accounting as Manager of Tax
Services with Chapman, Hext & Co., P.C.
Sarah has dealt with many types of companies in her career. She
specializes in partnerships and other types of flow-through entities,
primarily in the real estate and oil & gas industries. At
Chapman, Hext & Co., P.C., Sarah is heavily involved in tax
planning, tax structure and tax compliance.

Leisha Gardner, Tax Services Manager

Leisha Gardner is a Manager at Chapman, Hext & Co., P.C. bringing
more than 10 years of tax experience in public accounting to the
position. Leisha has a background in both private industry as well as
public accounting. Her public accounting experience includes tax,
financial planning, compilation, and review as well as audit experience.
Since 2000 her primary focus has been in the area of individual
taxation, tax planning and related compliance issues as well as
corporate, partnership and fiduciary taxation.
Ms. Gardner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a
Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount
University in California. Leisha holds a Personal Financial Specialist
designation and has a Personal Financial Planning certificate from UCLA.
She also has a Series 7 and Series 66 license.
