Ryan started his financial services career in 2010 with Frost, PLLC, a regional accounting firm in Little Rock, Arkansas. For the next 3 years, he planned, performed, and supervised the financial statement audits of mid-sized private companies across the United States, primarily in the agricultural industry. In 2013, Ryan returned to his hometown in Monticello, Arkansas, to assist in his uncle’s small accounting practice in succession.
Following a brief stint helping small business owners with tax planning, acquiring financing, operations consulting, and litigation support, he jumped on an opportunity to work with one of the top performing teams at PwC in Dallas. After a year auditing the financial statements of multi-million dollar enterprises in a range of industries, Ryan found Chapman, Hext & Co., PC to be his home.
Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a CFA Charterholder, and he holds the Series 65 and 79 securities licenses. During his career, he has founded two investment management firms, owned and sold various real estate assets, and worked with companies in a wide range of industries and sizes.
Ryan joined Chapman, Hext & Co., PC as a Senior Associate in September 2015.
Ryan assists the deals team with managing the datarooms, preparing financial reports/statements and forecasts, and supporting with advisory needs.

Ryan is a Senior III Associate at Chapman, Hext & Co., PC, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member of the DFW/CFA Society, a member of the CFA Institute, and a member of the Service Committee of the VolunteerNow Young Leaders’ Council.
Ryan lives in Dallas and plays tennis and golf, and attends Highland Park United Methodist Church.
